Empty Chamber

Project: Poster
Programs: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Institution: Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University
DETAILS
This project was to create a poster that communicates how social injustice affects us all, these people who live in our bubble and largely ignore the issue. Cyberbullying has always existed as a social problem. This poster design urges people to say no to cyberbullying. Violence hurts people's bodies, and verbal violence breaks people's hearts. Every sentence of verbal violence is like a bullet, don't let your words become bullets to hurt others.

Carmen
Art Direction: Scott Laserow
Project: Poster
Programs: Adobe Photoshop
Institution: Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University
DETAILS
In the poster of Carmen, I use thorns as a metaphor for the story of Carmen. While there is no direct connection between the opera Carmen and thorn, the metaphorical use of "thorn" can be applied to the themes and characters in the opera. The thorn can also be associated with the idea of temptation and the dangerous allure of Carmen's personality. Additionally, the idea of the thorn can be connected to the themes of passion and danger central to Carmen's story. The opera portrays its characters' intense emotions and relationships, which ultimately lead to tragedy and heartbreak. Therefore, the thorn can be seen as a symbol of the pain and danger of giving in to one's desires and passions.

Project: Poster
Programs: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Institution: Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University
DETAILS
This circus poster embodies the spirit of CYRK in Poland. The challenge for this poster is to choose anything from a traditional circus other than the animals, with the exception of domesticated animals like cats, dogs, horses, and birds. In this poster, I feature bold colors, dynamic compositions, and patterns with surreal elements.
City Postcard
Instructor: Nicole Medina
Project: Poster
Programs: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Procreate
Institution: Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University
DETAILS
Two postcards featuring city landmarks, aiming to make them look like a series. To achieve this, I used limited color options and strong contrasting colors, while making sure the background colors echoed one another to ensure they created a consistent overall feel when taken together. Both postcards feature the same minimalist style, composed of sharp color contrasts and clean lines to highlight the silhouettes and features of city landmarks.
